We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colours but they all have to learn to live in the same box.
The world is full of people from all walks of life, different religions, different genders, different hair colours,
different beliefs and different sexual oreintations…
Who’s to say what is normal? What is the meaning of the world ‘normal’?
According to the Dictionary:

1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
2. serving to establish a standar
Wouldn’t this world be so boring, so bland, so predictable - if everyone was the same?
Gay people, black people, asian people, transgendered people, mixed race people and Yes! Even people with Ginger hair… are PEOPLE and deserve the right to be treated equally and deserve the right to be afforded courtesy, respect and tolerance as much as the next person.
At Equal Rights Now we believe that we live in an unjust, unfair and unequal society, where people
are daily abused, ridiculed or otherwise disrespected as a result of their differences.
We should celebrate diversity instead of abusing people and using peoples differences against them.
Racism and Homophobia ARE illegal in the UK and NO ONE is above the law. Crimes of this nature are should be treated VERY seriously and are classed should be classed as aggrivations. Report homophobia and racism now!
